Publication dates, deadlines, formats and prices at a glance.

How often is a3BAU published and what is its circulation?
Eight times a year. The print run is 16,686 copies (rolling annual average 2025, audited by ÖAK). Distribution is by direct mail to the key decision-makers in the construction and real estate industry.
When is the advertising deadline?
About three weeks before the publication date, with the artwork deadline in between. Example, issue 11-12/2026: booking deadline 27 November, artwork 4 December, published 17 December. All dates and editorial themes are in the media kit.
Which ad formats are available and what do they cost?
2026 list prices: full page € 8,250, half page (portrait or landscape) € 4,650, one-third page € 3,560, quarter page € 2,690, double-page spread € 11,350. Premium placements carry a surcharge: 15 % on the inside front and inside back cover, 25 % on the back cover.
What does an advertorial in a3BAU cost?
2026 list prices: double-page spread with up to 5,100 characters including spaces € 11,990, full page with up to 2,600 characters € 8,790, half page with up to 1,600 characters € 4,990, one-third page with up to 800 characters € 3,890, quarter page with up to 530 characters € 2,950. The character count may be lower depending on the number and size of images. Advertorials are labelled as such.
Are there special advertising formats?
Yes. The wrap-around band covers the front and back cover and includes a double-page ad worth € 11,740 – total price € 20,190. There is also the outer flap across the front and back cover (overall format 230 × 280 mm). Further special formats are arranged individually.
Who does a3BAU reach?
The people who decide on tendering and execution of construction projects – in particular planners during the tender phase, as well as contractors and users across the construction and real estate industry.
