KOMMUNAL reaches Austria's municipal decision-makers – mayors, council members, administrative heads and public-administration staff – in all 2,092 municipalities. Depending on the title, the target group is more focused: “KOMMUNAL Bürgermeister” addresses mayors nationwide, while “NÖ Gemeinde” and “Tirol.Kommunal” address decision-makers in their respective regions.

The trade magazine KOMMUNAL has an ÖAK-audited print circulation of 30,882 copies (second half of 2025). The weekly KOMMUNAL newsletter goes to around 35,000 subscribers with an average open rate of roughly 23 %.
